Heidi and Chris threw an impromptu barbecue for Labor Day. There were only a few people there – perhaps because of the short notice – but we all had fun anyway.

Unfortunately, several of my friends have taken to mugging for the camera, and even when she's trying to be serious I seem to catch Heidi pulling a face. So this isn't the best collection of photos I've ever taken.

But it's another chance to see the kittens a few months older (and I still can't remember their names).
