My first Thankgiving dinner was just 2 weeks after I arrived in New York in November 2000. I already knew Shaun before I moved here, so well before I arrived I had an invitation to my first example of this great American tradition.

As a newcomer to the group I didn't go overboard with the photography as I have tended to do in recent years — this is the only photo I took. The guest list has varied over the years but some of the faces will be familiar.
